Boston - Labor Day???

We were thinking about going to Boston on Labor Day. Should we still go? Will power and clean up be done by Labor Day?

Boston is mostly back up, some of the suburbs are still without power. I think you'll be fine. Have a great time!

We're definitely back up and running and the city looks good again, but Labor Day weekend can be a crazy weekend as all the college kids are moving back in, so the traffic and parking can be brutal.

ill be going home (to boston!) to visit family for the long weekend, so i hope so! our "downtown" (downtown crossing, faneuil hall etc...) day is planned for thursday...so i hope all will be well by then.

In Boston there really was not much to clean up. A few downed tree limbs. Nothing that should prevent you from visiting. Now if you were going to the cape I couldn't say I haven't been yet so I don't know how affected they may have been by the storm.

I certainly hope so -- we are flying up there on Friday From what I've seen/read/heard, there wasn't much damage -- just some downed trees as a pp mentioned.
