Joe Rohde is giving the keynote talk at the SIGGRAPH 2006 conference, at the Boston Exhibition and Conference Center (South Boston, I believe). It's not free; you do have to be registered for the conference, with at least an "Exhibits Plus" pass ($75 if you register by June 23).
SIGGRAPH's a great conference for those interested in computer graphics. Plus, Pixar and Disney are usually exhibitors there.
I'll be at the conference anyway, and absolutely won't miss Rohde's talk! Last year Lucas was the keynote, and I had to miss it because of my responsibilities at the event. But I refuse to miss Rohde!
If anybody's interested in doing a mini DISmeet at SIGGRAPH before or after the Rohde talk, let me know.
