Maria Baez!!!!

Unlikely has a don't really have a way to watch CBS. Antenna reception in my area is very poor. We hooked up my antenna the other day and I can get NBC and a few other sub-channels but absolutely no ABC and CBS is hit & miss. It can be crystal clear and then cut in & out.
Ooooh, thanks for the heads-up! I will set this in my DVR and see if I like it as much as the trailer.
...for me the scene is dramatic opening... not doing my homework..I had no idea what was going to happen or even recognize one of the actors.... I don't see it happening as the show is now a platform for incluvisty.... I didn't even know who was the lady with the hair at dinnerI hope Sean and Sophie see each other again in an upcoming episode. It feels like a waste of an introduction (and someone who knew the Springsteen reference) if they don't have a follow up after Sean is out of the hospital. Just my two sense.
Blue Bloods is a great show that lasted 14 seasons. To put it bluntly, the Reagans were one of the most important families in NYC in the series. Everyone in their family was either a cop, nurse, or attorney. In regards to the spinoff, the last season of Blue Bloods was it's launching point. They found out they had a nephew they never knew about, who was the son of their dead brother Joe. Danny's brother Jamie and Jamie's wife Eddie announced they were pregnant, Erin and her ex-husband got back together (she was wearing a wedding ring in the pilot), the nephew Joe was becoming a great a cop as a way to honor his deceased father. Danny finally caught everyone of the criminals who were responsible for his wife Linda's murder. His father, Frank the police commissioner of NYC became respected by the new Mayor administration. Danny's grandfather, Henry was diagnosed with prostate cancer but they kind of left his fate open ended. Danny finally asked Maria Baez out in one of the last scenes. She was his police partner. Danny has another son who is currently in college in the series, so we will probably see him in the future as well. I have high hopes for this show. I just hope his Catholic faith will still be a presence in the show as it was a big part of him and his family.I've never seen Blue Bloods, but I did watch this. I like Maggie Lawson (was a huge Psych fan) and Gloria Reuben (was also a huge ER fan), as well as Donnie Wahlberg. But it's hard to believe him as a New Yorker transplanted to Boston!
Without knowing anything about the previous show, the story still interested me, so I'll probably watch another episode. The kid from Blackish was a nice surprise (I can't remember any of the character's names yet.)
