Funny thing though. My running partner and I were weaving our way through people at the parks last weekend and we see this incredibly buff woman in a Boston Athletic Assoc Jacket.
Congrats on getting into Boston. That's amazing. I have to take about 2 1/2 hours off of my time to get in. Well Done.
Um nope. I would need to take another 54 minutes off my new PR. I think I will wait until I am 60. .
My running partner Susan who was at Marathon weekend
with me has done Boston twice before.
I'm not sure if she's doing it this year or not,
but if you pm me your email I can pass it along to
her. She's super helpful!!!!
Good luck in Boston!
I'll be there cheering![]()

Cruella & Liz!We were eyeing them too, I recall seeing a guy or two with it on, don't recall if it was the same guy or not.
How does one get in on Boston with a sport tour?
I have been trying like crazy to get DH a voucher through work. Doesn't look good again this year. Boston is really a big dream of his and I so want him to be able to do it. Without us having to raise tons of money for a charity - we are just not good at asking people for money.
Kate, that is so cool that you will run Boston. Don't be worried, you are going to do it! I'm so happy for you!
put all his eggs into the basket this past weekend. This past year he worked really hard. He described these grueling long hill workouts that had absolutely NO attraction to anyone. His body transformed into a lean, mean machine. I swear, his legs looked like the ones on the Jim Fixx running log. I called him early Sunday and he gave me the long version. He recounted the mental journey that was very vivid. There were a lot of things that COULD have gone wrong, but late afternoon he discovered he qualfied with 17 seconds to spare. At the youthful age of XX, anything is possible.
