Are the days of less than $200 for non-stop, roundtrip airfares over? Or will these prices come down? I'm looking to book for the dates of February 2nd and returning on February 10th or 11th.

I found Delta for $287 and Jetblue for $305. I also see Delta/AirTran combo for around $240, but who is AirTran? Are they any good?? :confused3

Any insight is appreciated. :sunny:

My suggestion would be to go a little further north and fly non-stop out of Manchester, NH on Southwest. We got our tickets for $118 round trip for this September and last year it was $98 round trip. Not sure about February prices though.

AirTran is a good. We flew with them before & we're flying with them in November from Phila. The seats are 5 across instead of 6 across. We haven't had any problems so far. Good luck with your search! :thumbsup2

I booked on JetBlue for this coming October for $177 per person from Bos to MCO, it took a lot of looking and a lot of time checking every week for the past few months. I use Faircaster.com and Kayak.com to check and see what the prices are. You can still fly for less than $200 round trip, but you may have to be flexible with the times and days.

If you're located south of Boston, it may be in your best interest to fly out of Green in Rhode Island.

We fly Southwest, an airline that does NOT fly out of Boston. If it did, I still would fly out of Green!

Four of us are flying to "the world" on Friday at a cost of $542.40, all taxes included.

I don't subscribe to Southwests "Ding", those prices are generally $10-$15 cheaper per ticket than what I pay.

I second Providence. If you're driving from the cape the distance is a little further but the traffic is far less. Plus parking is ample and way cheaper. And Southwest has 5 non-stops per day. We flew to MCO last Feb and I think the flight was $49 each way, $115 R/T with all of the taxes etc.

If you do book JetBlue keep checking the prices and the minute you see them go down you can call and get the difference credited to your account for no charge. We just got back from WDW flying on jetBlue and they were great!

I Flew to MCO from BOS in may and we only paid $150 round trip per person! The prices now are ridiculous! Hopefully it goes down! Last year I booked our air fare about 4 months before we planned on travelling.

Prices are pretty cheap for travel now, but Feb is a tough time to get cheap flights from this neck of the woods (Bos/Manchester/Providence).

We got $79 each way this Feb but felt lucky to get $119 each way on Jetblue for next Feb. The $119 fares got snapped up pretty quickly on the good flights too.

I'll take the credits if they go down, but I'm not holding my breath.

Good luck.
