If I am making a reservation in Sept 2014 (UY April) for August 2015, will I be allowed to borrow from 2016 for this reservation since the trip is after UY in 2015?

No my UY is April. So the reservation would fall under 2015 UY.

Yes. August 2015 would be in your April 2015 use year. You can used banked 2014, current 2015, borrowed 2016.
