Borrowing Question

We own 200 pts at VB (June) and 150 at SSR (Feb). We have used our 2012 and 2013 VB pts and will receive our 2013 pts for SSR on Feb 1. We are wanting to make a trip to VB in October and would borrow our 2014 pts to do the trip. Do I have to wait until June 1 to be babble to make that reservation? Of not, I will use SSR.

With a June use year, an October 2013 vacation falls into your 2013 use year. Therefore you can use your VB 2014 points to pay for that vacation. You may borrow the 2014 points as soon as your 11 month window opens for the October 2013. (You can only borrow points when making the reservation that will use them).

You will have to wait until the 7 month window opens if you want to use your SSR points for that VB vacation.

In other words, you can call today and reserve Oct 2013 at VB by borrowing points from your June 2014 use year..

Thanks. I thought that was the case but wasn't sure. Made my reservation borrowing from '14 pts.
