Borrowing question

Not an owner yet but trying to get all the facts.
Ok, lets say I have a 160pt contract with a Dec UY, and I wish to make a ressie at my home resort for Dec 1 to 8 in 2009 that needs 200pts.
No 08 points banked into 09 so need to borrow 40 from the next UY (2010), leaving 120pts in our 2010 UY.
I phone to make the ressies on Jan 2 09 for the 11 month window (due to the 1st being a holiday).
Now, does MS borrow the points at the time of making the ressie, or am I supposed to borrow them first and then phone for the ressie?
I am pretty sure that MS will do it at that time but just wanted to check.

Oh and one more thing, can you borrow more than once from the same UY in the same year?
Lets say we decide 2 months later in Mar 09 to go again for a few days in Feb 10, and we need 120pts.
Since our points are not avail until Dec 2010, can we borrow again from our 2010 UY or is it a one time deal?

Borrowing is an transaction that can only be done at the time of booking. Yes, you can borrow more than once in a use year...just not more points than you have!
