Definitely!!Does anyone routinely borrow their next year‘s points? To maximize the amount of points given each year.?
yes we have borrowed to complete reservations, but if plans change you will need to try to reallocate borrowed points into reservations to be able to not lose any points. But yes that is flexibility with DVC program.Does anyone routinely borrow their next year‘s points? To maximize the amount of points given each year.?
I'd be okay with 2 years of banking and borrowing! Mostly because I somehow have the self control to be more into banking lol.Thank God they dont allow us to borrow two years worth![]()
Same. We planned every other year in a 2 bedroom but I had 17 points leftover this year and did a weekend trip in a value studio with the extra points for MNSSHP and I think I’m addicted. Already booked for next year. Oops. This was my plan, but I’m having a hard time not going every year. lol
Yep that is one of the major reasons I like banking better. It's more flexible and A lot fewer points are on expiration noticemy concern is if you are unable to go those points will be lost at the end of the UY.
We have 3 UY, 2 of which hold smaller contracts with specific purposes. We always borrow on those just so we don’t strand any points. Those are trips we don’t plan to take every year so I don’t want to be in a banking situation. Our bigger UY holds many contracts and that one I’m usually banking a couple of points from each because I know we’ll use them every year.Does anyone routinely borrow their next year‘s points? I see you own several. Can I ask.. do you live locally? We have 3 UY, 2 of which hold smaller contracts with specific purposes. We always borrow on those just so we don’t strand any points. Yes banking is the way, borrowing is for luxury not necessity.Yep that is one of the major reasons I like banking better. It's more flexible and A lot fewer points are on expiration notice

No Bueno for those of us that have an (irresponsible) addictionI'd be okay with 2 years of banking and borrowing! Mostly because I somehow have the self control to be more into banking lol.
But that would increase flexibility quite a bit. Maybe a MMB benefit for future years??
We do not live locally, a 3 hour flight away.So many things I need to learn!
