borrowing points question

Ok.. we are looking at going back in April 2011. We get our DVC points in Dec. We have 40 09 points left... I obvioulsy want to book this 11 mos out at our home resort AKV but I dont have enough points. I know i can borrow into 2010 but can I also borrow into 2011? Thanks..

A trip in April 2011 takes place during your 2010 Use Year so :

You can bank 2009 points into 2010 UY which make them usable for trips from
12/1/2010 through 11/30/2011.

And Yes Your 2011 allotment can be borrowed into your 2010 Use Year because that is when your April 2011 trip will take place (during 2010 Use Year). 2010 Use Year would be from
December 1 2010 through November 30 2011.

You do not have to "wait" for these points - they are already available to MS to use at your Home Resort's 11 month owners priority booking window. So you may call MS beginning in May 2010 to take advantage of 11 month window and they will bank your 2009 points to use, use your 2010 points and borrow what they need from your 2011 points to book April 2011 trip at your Home Resort.
