Borrowing Points More Than Once Out of Same Year

This sounds like it should be a yes, but wanted to double check: am I allowed to borrow points from next year more than once, as I make two separate reservations, as long as I don't go over the 50% restriction?

Yes, but you can’t go over 50% in total for borrowing. It isn’t 50% per reservation. Also, there is a known website “glitch” that prevents some resale owners from borrowing a second time — but you can call to complete the reservation.

For example, I own both RIV and SSR in my Aug UY. I can only borrow half of each one, not all of one and none on the other.

So, if I have two contracts, same resort, same UY, let’s say they are for 150 points each. And, let’s say I need to borrow 80 points. So, I can borrow 75 from one and 5 from the other for the same reservation?

If I’m on a waitlist, it just asks me to confirm that I want to borrow from my home resort. How does it determine which of my contracts to borrow from?

It has you choose if different contracts. If they are both the same resort, they will borrow from the one listed first unless you have borrowed the 50% from that one already and take it from the second one.
