Borrowing/Banking Question

We're considering joining and I have a question -

Is it possible to bank all of your points from one year (let's say 2001), and borrow all of your points from 2003, and use all three years' worth of points in 2002?

When we first looked at joining many years ago I thought that you could only bank and/or borrow a certain percentage of your points. Has this changed over the years?

Yes, it is possible to do what you propose. You must bank your points by a certain month (according to when your Use Year begins) but early on it is possible to bank 100%, it goes down to 50%, 25% and none.

Technically, banking and borrowing is subject to limitation but lately they have never put any restrictions on it.

When scheduling your vacation, watch your use year. If your use year is August, in order to use banked 2001, use 2002 and borrow 2003 your trip will have to be after August 1, 2002. For Jan 1 to July 31 2002 stays, you would be able to use banked 2000, current 2001 and borrow 2002.
