Borrowing and Booking question

We are in the early planning stages for next a dvc trip next oct 2011. I'm a little confused about when I can book the reservation.

We are currently out of 2009 and 2010 points. The next time we get points is Dec. 2011. That means I'll have to borrow those to travel in Oct. 2011. So my question is this.... My 11 month window is this Nov. 23...Can I make a reservation for next October or will I have to wait until Dec. 1st to call when I'll be able to actually borrow those points?

If you look at your account online, you should see December 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012. So those 2011 points are already in your account, no need to wait until the use year starts.

For an October 2011 stay, you could borrow 2011 points when the 11 month window opens. You could borrow them now for a stay 12/1/10 or after.

as stated, you can make reservations 11 months in advance at your home resort, regardless of whether you are using banked, current or borrowed pts.

but do be aware that if you have to cancel that reservation made with borrowed pts, the pts cannot be put back into your 2011 UY and will expire on nov 30, 2011. just make sure your plans are firm...
