I have a question about borrowing and banking I'm hoping someone can answer.

Here is my situation. I have 110 pts left for the yr (Aug use yr).
I've booked a studio at OKW in Jan for 40 pts....thus leaving me wth 70 pts. Now some more people have decided they want to come with us. If I book a 2 bedroom also I'll need 110 pts and I'll have to borrow 40 from next yr. My question is, if someone cancels and we end up cancelling the studio (more than 31 days out) which pts would they put back into my account? The original 40 for this use yr that were used to book the studio or would they be tricky and use all my this yr's pts for the 2 bedroom and give me the pts that I have borrowed back. (In which case I have to use them because I can't put them back in next yr's pts right?) So I guess I'm hoping if I cancel they will give me this yr's pts back so I can bank them and use my borrowed pts for the 2 bedroom ressie.

Thanks for any help!

You can direct them to return the current year points. Verify your point balances by use year at the end.

Thanks so much! I have another question. I called MS and booked the two bedroom. What I had forgotten is right now I have a studio booked but only for 4 of the 5 nights I'm going and I'm waitlisted for the 5th. So when I booked the 2 bedroom I only had to borrow 32 pts. And now if my waitlist comes through they will automatically borrow 8 pts. So now does anyone know if my waitlist comes through and I decide to cancel the studio can I ask them to use those 8 borrowed pts on the 2 bedroom ressie instead?

Thanks

As long as the studio is canceled before the 2BR is booked, you can tell them to use those 8 points that are borrowed first.
