I would like to add a day to my Dec reservation, but I'm short 17 pts. I don't know it I should borrow them, or wait to see if an AP rate comes out. There are no member discount rooms available. To make it even more confusing, I'm on the wait list for BCV points. IF, big If, it comes through I will be able to use these points for my Dec ressie. I'm so confused:confused3 I don't know what to do, and I'm worried that soon  there will be no availability at all.

I think it just plain ol' depends upon how important the reservation is to you. Why ruin your chances for availability? If it's important enough, borrow the 17 points.

I say borrow! But then we are always into next year's points so I guess my answer is based on my own method ;) . Good luck with whatever you decide!

Exactly when is your reservation? If it's in then beginning or end of the month, I would say to borrow the points. That's a very bus time! Otherwise, I would look at the DVC member discount instead.
