The old Disney Credit Card bills were always fun to get. They had offers and information that made it fun (almost) to get the bill. To put it briefly, the new Disney/Visa (and DVC) Card bill is boring! There was nothing interesting or special in it. There were no special offers and no humerous or informative messages. Is this what all the fuss was about? Keep your old Disney Credit Card!

I think it's becoming more apparent that this is a Bank One product with VERY little Disney about it!

Well I am considering nomimating this thread for the funniest thread award.

I can't believe anyone is upset because their bill is boring. All that stuff from the Disney credit card was just to tempt you to buy anyway.

My reply was merely intending to state that the problems people have had with approvals, denials, late cards, improperly imprinted cards and unclear incentives have been handled in a way that is below the standards of the usual excellent customer service we expect from Disney. Even American Express offers incentives on the billing statement, as do other incentive based cards (airline, hotel, gasoline, etc.)

I don't think that I or the OP were intending to be funny.

That's funny.....there were 4 Special offers in my bill. Maybe I spend more than you!!!! :) :p ;) :D

Mine too Anniet.

Of course I never had any expectations that my Disney Credit Card bill would be magical. And I'm afraid that sending pixie dust in the mail now days is a Federal offense.

Isn't that called junk mail ? (no offense intended, just having some fun)

Maybe that's what slipped out in Washington & Florida today! ;)

I got 4 big offers too! :p

You know maybe I think this is so funny because when I open my bills I remove the bill and throw the rest of it away, often without even taking it out of the envelope. (I pay on line so I don't even need the return envelope!) I mean all the majority of the offers you get are to buy things and/or insurance.

I just can't imagine anyone being disappointed that the bill did not contain more junke! Just think of the great contribution to the environment if the JUNKE stayed out!

I have a friend who mails all the unsolicted junke back. For example if he gets a unrequested credit card mailing with a postage paid return envelope, he stuff everything that was in the mailing back in the return envelope and sticks it in the mail! (He does go to the trouble of voiding any 'credit request" so they don't get the wrong idea.)

I used to do the same thing your friend did only with a little twist: I'd switch junk mail up,and mail the offers back to different customers. I stopped doing it because it got to be too much work and I was gaining weight from licking all the envelopes. Just went back to tearing them up.

KNWVIKING... This is the 3rd post in a row of yours that I read and had to laugh out loud.

Just wondering, are you looking for extra nominations on the "funniest thing" thread...I would be happy to put in a few for you:p

No...Just having some fun with a few threads that are just begging for a smart a$$ like me to add my 2 cents. Lots of times this board-and others- are tied up in "unfun" threads and nastyness. The boards have been fun lately, must be because it's Spring time.

I agree!!!!! Thanks for the laughs!:p :) :)

Mea culpa.

Thanks for lightening me up! It's just that when someone says that something you said is "funny" and you didn't intend it to be, it sometimes can be interpreted as "what you just said is really stupid.":o

BTW, I agree that sending pixie dust is a great idea, but sending it via the mail is not;)

Have a nice day!
