Well, I know I am obsessed. I was in the Universal area on business today for a meeting and as I was driving by, I just had to stop. What better excuse. I went and got the vouchers for our annual passes. I was so tempted to redeem mine and do my picture as well as hit a few rides, but I was in a business suit and I promised my wife we would do this together. The HULK was just calling my name. I cannot wait to go back for my upcoming trip. Also, I took advantage and did a tour of the HRH. A front desk clerk gave me the tour and showed me a standard room, a deluxe room and a club level room as well as the club level. I have to say they were very professional, knowledgable, friendly and I was impressed by everything I saw. I am now excited and cannot wait to plan our trip there next summer. I want to stay at least 5 nights.

Two of the rooms had the white duvet covers and one had the green ones. I thought it would be bad, but I loved all the rooms and saw no wear and tear.

So here's to the HRH!!!! and my universal obsession!!!!

I would recommend you get help but I find myself checking these boards every day in case something is new myself, so I have no room to talk. If I lived as close as you instead of 23hours away I would probably be there now instead of waiting. Take three deep breaths, exhale, then go yell at your wife for making you promise to wait for her and spoil your goof off time today.:)

LOL.... I am with you.

Temptation is a cruel thing.....

You are not alone!!!!!!!

My last trip in july we stayed over in disney at my dvc resort and had to drive over to pass by and look.I got a lump in my throat and still feel the lump.

Than make sure you get out there!!!!! It's so great to know that there are more people out there like me!!!!

Oh no...SH will pretty soon go to Universal everyday to see how the painting is going! :)

How on earth can you be so obsessed with Universal Studios? I like the place, but I'm not OBSESSED!!!!!

:p

Yeah, especially since I went only 20 times in a period of 6 months!

If you're obsessive what am I ? Since I got my AP with an extra year free with the florida lottery promo they had in june 2002 I've gone 22+ times, It could be more. I know it's at least 22 since I have that many parking passes since I started collecting them.

Spidey I don't know how you stay away at all since you live so close. I can't stay away from these boards, so I am sure I couldn't stay away from the parks if I were there! If I lived that close, I would be there with FlyFly all the time! Do you think the kids would be mad if I was there all day while they are in school? I think I am going to talk to my husband about getting transferred to Orlando. :p

Barry- LOL....

Themepark- It's tough believe me. But this may sound weird, but if I were to go all the time I don't think it would be as exciting and I might tire of it......

It makes it more "special" and the anticipation is so much fun when I haven't been in a while. But then we have die hard fans like Fly Fly and I think I could still be excited if I went all the time.

With my annual pass, the story may change.... ;)

Come on SpideyHulk you need to do it one day and ride the Hulk with a suit on. The looks that you get from the employees and the other guests are priceless. When I first started looking for a job in the area I had an interview at 11 am and it was close to Universal. I still came up early and went to the park and it was a great way to get the day started.

Robert,

Believe me, I was so tempted. But knowing me, I would look at them and say "What? It's a special occassion. I dressed up just for the Hulk"....LOL

SpideyHulk,

How did you like HRH comapred to RPH:confused: We loved RPH and are going to try HHR July 04:p

I'm glad to see I am not the only one that is a tad bit obsessed with Universal, I was starting to worry about myself:rolleyes:

I haven't stayed at the HRH yet, but after my tour I was very impressed. I am going to stay there next summer and then will have stayed at all 3 resorts. The rooms I saw had no wear and tear and the clerk while being cool, was professional and knowledgable. The RPR will always have a special place in my heart not only because it was so great, but it was my "first time" on site at Universal and it was memorable. Great service, facilities and the like...
