We went to Sacramento today to get concert tickets for my daughter and the protesters tried to close I-80 in Davis. It was a mess.

I will go check this website out.

From what I saw it was insane. I hope it is over for a while. I have to go that way again tomorrow to take them to the concert. Yee haw. I am going to go to a couple different malls with Kody, and bookstores. Hopefully I can find enough to do during the concert to keep us busy.

My last two days leading up to departure ending up going SO FAST. I didn't even get a chance to post before I left. But we're back now and I am uploading my 500 pictures. I will start reporting sooon.

We did have fun! Not so much the drive down though when I got a nice view of flashing lights through my back window...

Back to reality though. The first day back to work after a three day weekend is always rough, so I better hop to it.

The peanut butter was great! I also took one to work with me along with an apple. Worked out great.

Work went well today. I had a day of men clients! Funny how that happens sometimes. I like men's haircuts, but their short little hairs stick all in you. Uncomfortable.

I'm glad to hear it about the peanut butter. Nothing like peanut butter and apple.

It's good that work went well, I can see where the little hairs would be annoying.

The worst is when they get stuck down in your(well my) shoes!! Then I have to pull them out of my toes like splinters. Sorry, that is really gross!! But you can get ingrown hairs from other peoples hairs I at least know that their hair is clean when they get stuck.

Yeah I definitely got a speeding ticket ON my birthday. So gross.

The worst is when they get stuck down in your(well my) shoes!! Then I have to pull them out of my toes like splinters. Sorry, that is really gross!! But you can get ingrown hairs from other peoples hairs I at least know that their hair is clean when they get stuck.

Well he took my drivers license back to his car, and when he came back he said "so since it's your birthday, I'm going to take 5mph off of your speed". It's still going to be a hefty ticket that I'm not looking forward to. I've been trying trying trying to save money for a trip to London to take some Toni and Guy classes. That dream keeps getting farther and farther away.

haha yeah, he was really precious. I'm sure it will happen eventually. It's sooo hard for me to save money though and I've been doing everything in my power to do so. I'm putting parts of my paycheck into savings, all of my change goes in a jar...etc. But then stuff like this comes up and I have to dip into that. Soo frustrating. It's been a slow few weeks at the salon too, so that gets quite disheartening.

I'll look back on this time(which is generally the slow period) and realize it wasn't so bad, and it all worked out in the end. But being in the middle of it.. I had a client no-show today. I could have screamed.

I cannot understand the no shows. I mean seriously how hard is it to pick up the phone and say I just can't make it?
