Booted From A Dis'ers Room!

I was booted from a fellow dis'ers room without warning! My friends were booted as well. I was talking to my friend, another Dis person, in the room being used for the Zeta Club, I think. There was nothing about non-Zeta people not being allowed into the room in it's room description. Please! If you want to have a "friends only" room, make it a "friends only" room! It's not very nice to boot people without a reason. I was even behaving! Yes, I know this person's name and I will not be visiting them ever again. Where is the love?

Well maybe they just didn't feel like having company. But I totally agree with u. I hate it when I am booted from a room without warning. Usually when ever I am booted I just sit on the VMK screen and saying to myself "I cannot believe I just got booted" for about two minutes.

Hello I am sorry you got booted .I was there when the room owner said it was for Zeta pals only to all females who were there uninvited. Yes it was for anyone participating in the Zeta secret pal exchange. She can not put it on friends because the secret pals could not get in. Because there is more than 15 pals having someone that is not participating makes it hard for invitees to get in and some could not get in. Just to note the Zeta girls are open to all females. And participation was open to every female. Also your post enough on dis to know there is a specific thread for Zeta girls. But I know she at least let all females who were not invited know it was for secret sea star and pals. Maybe she did miss you, maybe you did not see the post. I Know I miss things that people are saying when I am busy typing. I think this should have been a pm to the owner and not a public forum.

I have been booted from dis members playing mansion. Yes it is not nice. It happens and I take it up with the person and if I can not find that person becuase they are not on my friend list I talk to a friend of theirs to let them know how I feel.

So next time go to the person first then if it is not resolved maybe ask another Diser to go on your behalf. This should be your last course of action to post publically. Because you are making statements that I believe are inaccurate for I was there also. And it is just hurtful. Two hurts do not make a right.

I hope you now have the full picture. I normally do not post like this but I hate to see somewho who gives so much to others and this group to be slandered on a misunderstanding. At that is what it was a misunderstanding maybe on both sides.

We're on round 3, so we've been around for a long time. We're a bunch of ancient women on a mission. (Each round there has been a sign up post. If you are an ancient girl and would like to join us look for the post of the start of the next round.)

I am sorry GreenMimi, as it was me who booted you. I was trying to explain to each person that there was an event going on and leaving time for people to leave....however, I was also fending off messages, PMs and IMs from the ladies in the program, so not every person may have seen the message before they got kicked. With 30 people participating, and only 15 or so allowed in a room, it is hard to keep the program people in who need to be there. It was in fact a theme party for the Zeta Girls Secret Pals Round 3. There have been tons of messages on this board about the program and its parties, so I figured people would know what was going on. I'm sorry that you weren't aware.

Hmm, maybe you were not getting my point? I just think it is unfair to be booted from a room without knowing why. I don't read every thread on these or other forums, I simply don't have the time. I have never read the Zeta thread, because it does not pertain to me. I was not informed that I would be booted from that particular room. I'm not going to pm the owner because I wanted everyone to know that if they aren't a part of this Zeta group they will be booted from that room. I also said that something in the room's description stating "Zeta girls only or I will boot", would have helped. I don't think I slandered anyone. There were no names mentioned. Now, let's get back to having fun!

Tishke, I understand the problem of trying to juggle everything you were having to do, but remember, if someone is not involved in Zeta this round, they are probably not reading the Zeta posts. I had no idea there was an event going on either. Perhaps you could put something in the room description? (I wasn't there - I didn't get booted. Just trying to help others feel welcome at the dis. I'm sure no one was trying to crash a private party or be disruptive)

OK, not to be taking sides or all but I sort of agree with Goffy. She is right. She dosn't read the threads that pretain to her because she would be like what are these ppl talking about. Also she is right about the room discription. If u don't want a certin group of ppl to be in the room than write that in the description. it is not that I don't respect the Zeta girls or anything but I just wanted to give u room owners an opinion for the future.

There is no need for anyone to attack anyone else here. It was a simple misunderstanding that is being blown out of proportion. Greenie_Mimi, you have an apology for the confusion of being booted without an explanation. You can accept it and move on, realizing that it's a misunderstanding and these things happen in life. Or you can take Tishke off your friends list and not have anything to do with her, thus depriving yourself of a potential friend. That choice is yours.

It's natural to think that people read every post here, since we do spend *so* much time on these boards. Tishke made a mistake in thinking that she might have read it, but she's apologized for that.

This next section is Generically speaking for all who read this thread:

In order to keep this a peaceful and welcome place for everyone, this needs to happen. People need to realize that there are two sides to every situation. There is NO need to run to the Dis and post about an unfair situation or something bad that happened. We all have the capacity to talk to the other individual to work out any misunderstandings or differences. Barring that if there are STILL problems, work it out privately with a moderator or learn to use the ignore feature here.

Now, let's go back to having a Disney Day.
