Hi, I think I saw this question somewhere but cannot find the answer. I will be flying to florida and therefore won't have my booster seat for my 5 year old DD. Can we take taxis to our ADRs if needed? are booster seats provided? what is the florida law?

Thanks a bunch!

For safety's sake your 5yo should be in a booster. Most taxis will not have these. If you are staying on Disney property, you will be able to take the Disney transportation without any need for booster seats. If you'll need other transportation, you might also consider bringing your 5yo booster on the plane. If you have the full size seat booster you may look at purchasing the sit on booster seat. These are fairly cheap here at about $15.00. We brought our dd booster our last trip. It kept her where she could comfortably see where we were going. Although we could not use it on the plane, we had it with our carry-on.

I agree. The laws in FL are not good so it is legal for your child to be without a booster. However, it is not safe. Disney roads are just as dangerous as the roads in your home town. Accidents happen at Disney. A 5 year old is just not safe in a cab with no booster seat.

I'd either plan on bringing your child's booster seat or sticking with Disney transport.
