It's a thing circulated to create DIS togetherness and make everyone closer. Basically, you get a PM with a bouncing mickey pumpkin, and the word BOO, then you're supposed to send it to 2 people. It's supposed to get you to open up to new people, PM them, and maybe make a friend.

And that's obviously not what's happening over here on the TB.

It's weird because not one of the other forums have people acting like this.

You should get that's it supposed to be a cool, surprise thing. And I don't see how begging for them just so you can list 20 different people in your siggy is creating any surprises or togetherness.

They've been around a while. I think these things circulate around Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

I know! I love the idea. It actually worked out good for me, I found two completely random people, BOO'd them, and we got to talking. I'm gonna send one of the woman a postcard from WDW for her little girl.

i get boo'ed there always a surprise because i'm not all that popular but still i like it i just got boo'ed by someone i don't know who they are but yet it was nice i try to not send them to the same people but i like it it makes me feel noticed but when you want boo's it takes away the fun it ruins the spirit i hope begging stops because were not having fun when there's begging

i had never herd of boos until i was boo'ed by kayla

I'm kind of regretting introducing this forum into BOO's. The point of BOOing is to up the DIS spirit, making friends while BOOing one or two new random people. It's to keep the togetherness feeling alive around here.

And then some people let it go straight to their heads. It's not a contest, please don't make it one.

I didn't mean it that way. I meant I kind of regret sending them to over 15 DIS'ers because I wanted the TB to realize the DIS spirit. I was hoping it would circulate, so maybe this place could be more like a family. I definitely wasn't taking credit for it.

I'm not a big fan of em. I've been booed about fifteen times this season. I get boos from the CB and here, but I never put it in my signature, so everyone thinks that I've not been booed, so they boo me too.

Last year, I remember getting one of the first from a thread on the CB. I thought it was cute, so I booed some TBers(it was already going around at that point), then it took off and got rather annoying.

I get a lot of PMs daily, so I don't even open the boo ones unless I don't have any others to read.
