Booooo! still no November hours

Good question.. and does anyone know if they ever release them on the weekend, or should I just not bother checking tomorrow and Sunday?

BTW, I just received the same email that most people have been receiving.. the one that states that the hours haven't been released yet (duh) and that they don't know when they'll be released (grrrrrr) and that I should keep checking the website (duh again).

Hmph.

:cool1: Not sure why I'm dancing...this is crazy. i never thought we'd still be waiting today! Thought for sure they'd be released right after the holiday weekend. Well...so it goes.

Hope you all have a nice weekend. Friends of ours are getting married and the weather is suppose to be beautiful here in NE so that should be nice.

Maybe by Monday lunchtime we'll all have some more inf'n from Disney to plan. Personally, the whole change of PS (ADRs) to 90 days from 60 w/out a corresponding increase in the time they post park hours is really annoying!!!Captive market I guess....but I sure wish they'd tie both together. kwim?

This is beyond ridiculous. I don't think any of us should go into the parks or to WDW restaurants during the first 15 or so days of Nov. just to teach Disney that they can't push us around like this. I'm going to pass this message on to everyone I can!! I'll go in the parks on my trip just to tell everyone to leave while I'm down there!

:confused3

I didn't read the whole thread, so I don't know if anyone else said this. I wonder if they are waiting to see if/how the problems w/Katrina's recovery are affecting attendance.

Well lets hope Monday will bring us all some joy, i wonder if we wish hard enough we will get the hours.

Wish wish wish wish wish wish wish wish wish wish wish wish wish

Another explanation.

I have been calling for Fantasmic dinner at Mama Melrose for November. The CM said he didn't know when the hours would be available, but he did say that they were late and should have been out by now.

That is a little different explanation than has been offered in this thread by other CMs.

Oh... ha... ha.. How funny.

Don't you just love people who do things just to be annoying? :rolleyes2:

Weather forecasters are saying that they think tropical storm/hurricane Ophelia (do I have that right?) will leave Florida alone, but I wonder if that could have had some bearing on Disney's late posting of Nov. hours. I think the Hurricanes last year affected Nov. attendance and maybe they're waiting to see if these will.

My feeling, too, is that their attendance levels might be lower than they had expected for that month. Might be because people who might have gone during that time moved their trips "up" because of the FREE dining.

I just changed some times on my ADR's today, and they're popular restaurants, and I had no problem getting the times I wanted. I think that's a sign. Usually, it's harder to change as you move closer to your date. Although, I hope I'm wrong. Higher attendance levels means more park time and that's what I want. I can deal with crowds.

I was able to change a few today as well. I had a very helpful CM from my hometown.

My response above wasn't meant as a smart aleck response (duh, the hours are late). What I was trying to confer was that if the CMs knew that they were late, that other stories about waiting to release them later in the month, i.e., a planned later than normal release, may not be true. I was counting my pixie dust and hoping that the info I got meant that the hours were going to be released sooner than the in 2 weeks that someone else in this thread reported in an email from a CM.

Another November hours poster on another thread said that they got a response from Disney that mentioned IT problems. If it's true, that's one honking problem . . .

Oh, and 177.

We were just talking about IT problems on the DVC board. That could be a honking problem. You're talking about killer clowns from Stephen King novels, right?

We are planning our first trip to WDW on Nov. 4th 2005. I thought it was strange that Disney expected us to make dining reservations 90 days ahead without knowing the hours the parks would be open. When do they normally release the hours? I'll be waiting too.

They still normally expect you to make dining plans without knowing the park hours... They usually release dates at right about the sixty day mark. (So, Nov. hours would normally be out right about a week ago, hence the annoyance.)
