did u like the OUtsiders? I love that book. I cried towards the end because it was so sad. and i dont usually cry during books...I sorta read Farewell to Manzanar for a project that I had to do this year. The Hatchet was ok not my favorite book.

HA, We read The Outsiders in my english class this year...
I'm supposed to be reading "Great Expectations" I'll start reading it sometime in the middle of July.

Well I just started the outsiders and I have heard different opinions......one of my friends thought the book was great and she finished it in 3 daze but my other friend doesn't really like it but I just finished the 1st chapter and I already like it......lol...yah and the one friend who loved the outsiders read great expectations las tsummer but i don't know if she liked it...I check it out...lol

The Outsiders is a good book but it is also a lil sad cuz johnny and dalley die in it but the begining i didnt like but i started liking it in the middle of thebook i ended up liking it after all. I wanna read it again...lol

I finished Mockingbird... i absolutely LOVED it... Its really a great book. and I just finished Give A Boy A Gun (again forget the author).. its basically a Columbine-type school shootin spree book, but written in diary/reflection format thru the eyes of the killers, their friends, teachers, and the jocks that pick on them and make them do wut they did... Really good.

i didnt really understand the house on mango street. if anyone is looking for a really good book...read "the red tent" its more for girls, and for more mature and older readers because at times its difficult to understand and other stuff; but its the story of the bible through the eyes of dinah, the only daughter of jacob. if ur interested in that stuff its very interesting. it doesnt really discuss religion at least not what im up to, in case thats a concern. but its realllllyyy good (it was on oprahs book club!) so i recommend it to teenage girls!!

I LOVE To Kill A Mockingbird and The Outsiders ever seen The Outsiders movie it's good. The To Kill A Mockingbird movie on the other hand is not good. It's in black and white and Dill looks like a horse! Did any of you ever read Maniac McGee I love that book. Also do any of you read Harry Potter.

i like reading the harry potter books and i read a book that accually made me cry it is called telling christina goodbye it is about 4 teenagers and the one girl dies in a car crash the is christina it is a true story and it is really great!! my mom came in while i was reading it and she was like y r u cryng and i said it this book i guess it was on lifetime my grandma bought it for me and she watched it on lifetime!!

I just finished reading the prom trilogies...nothing fancy, nothing long...just some mindless, romantic, typical*ish* high school love stories.

Right now I am reading Gone w/ the wind (not bad but long), but I finally completed the series of unfortunate events untill the next one is published(very good and each book is a fast easy reader). Happy Reading!!

has anyone ever read the "sevens" series? there are seven books in the series and they are titled like "week 1: shattered". i read the first three but my library didnt have anymore! they are really good books about teenagers problems, and they each focus on one of seven teens that used to be friends but were broken apart by some tragedy i think.

I just went to the library 3 days ago and got sum books.. I already finished 2 (i am a very fast reader!) the first one was the 3rd book in the Gossip Girl series.. really good series about a rich girl and her friends during their senior year at a NYC prep school.. very good.. a lot of language but still good. the second was one of the Sweet Valley High: Senior Year series. That was number 46, and i have read all 46 books. another highschool drama book... I also got a book called "A Boy At War" about pearl harbor.. i havent started it yet but it sounds really good and i;m into WW2 stuff and pearl harbor.
