books that should be made into movies

I have seen Diary of the Wimpy kid and I thought it was decent movie. What about other books like dork diaries or Circle series? I was thinking perhaps Patterson's book, "I survived middle school or perhaps baby Phat or the lawnmower tycoon by Gary Paulsen?
