I found ONE single book at my bookstore on US/IOA. Its just OK.

Does anyone know if anyone makes a cool guidebook/map system like PASSPORTER does for WDW?

Thats the one I got.......the ONLY one Ive seen.......................

Thats one of the best IOA/Universal books out there.

There was a terrible one by Rita something, and I truly enjoyed Kelly's book.

Remember Universal is smaller, and no need for the extremely extravagant planning books.

Yeah, WDW has 42 million visitors a year while US/IOA has only 12.9 million. Another good reason to avoid the mousetrap.

I have a 2001 WDW Unofficial Guide that had a section on Universal. It gave a pretty good description of the rides. I haven't seen any newer versions of this book so I don't know if it's in the newer ones.

When is the 2005 Universal book coming out? amazon.ca says Aug 13, but amazon.com says Nov. Also, does it have colour pictures, or just text?

Thanks,
Morticia.

Got the same book from Amazon.com it is great..

I also got the "unfficial Guide to beyond Disney" Schlelinger
s book, not as informative as the Unofficial guide to Disney... Stick with the other.

I agree. I am a huge UG to WDW fan, so I bought the "UG Beyond Disney" and it was basically just a repeat of the pages on Universal and Sea World from the 2004 WDW guide, but even more out of date, plus a bit about the water parks and Splendid China (now defunct) thrown in. Not worth it.

Are you all sure the Universal Orlando 2005 is out now? I have it preordered on Amazon but it has not been shipped. I better check into it!
