Is there a library? Just wondering, thanks.

There used to be a library on the classic ships...but DCL decided there were ways to make money on the space. It became a conference room and now the Edge.

There is a library bookshelf of books for grown ups in the Cove Cafe on the Magic and Wonder. There is a sign out sheet...and many guests contribute books that they no longer want to supplement those provided by DCL. There is NO such shelf on the Fantasy (or at least wasn't on our cruise). Sorry, don't know about the Dream.

Didn't notice any books in the Cove Cafe on the Dream, but I was more focused on my coffee at the time. I saw a number of current magazines that were supposed to stay in the Cafe. I now take my Kobo e-reader with me on cruises; it is a huge relief to be able to take my books with me conveniently.

Ok..not what I had hoped to learn, but at least I know.

There were about 10 books available at Cove Cafe on the Fantasy in September- looked to be a leave one, take one kind of deal from the passengers. i took one, read it over the week and left it for others, so you have options if you forget your book, but not many :)
