books for a 4 y.o.

We are taking our 4 year old & 15 month old daughters to Disney World in November. My 4 year old loves to read both with an adult & by herself. I'd like to get her some age appropriate books or maybe something with good attraction pictures for her Easter basket to get her excited for the trip. Any suggestions? Maybe something else to help her get ready?

We have several Disney storybook collections (like 5 minute stories). We have a princess one, an adventure one and a classic one. Also a Pixar one, I think.

Anyway, I like them because it introduces movies and characters from movies we haven't watched ('cause Mom doesn't like them, lol).

What about a Disney planning for kids book maybe? Probably above her level but may have good pictures.

Look at some of the Disney early reader/easy reader, level 1. Those tend to be shorter and simpler stories, plus they are thin paperbacks which are easier if you want to haul them onto the plane.

I got my kids this coloring book but I didn't pay that much for it. I can't remember where I ordered it from.

The Disney Jr. Encyclopedia is great; we used it for autographs at the park. My girls enjoyed reading it and asking trivia questions to cast members while waiting in line.

at WDW. It looks like you can get it on Amazon also. It has stories about the characters and the stories happen in places around the park. Super cute!

If you're looking for something with attraction photos that she can use to help plan, we'd recommend the Walt Disney World Guide to the Magic for Kids.

It has kid-friendly descriptions of every ride, plenty of photos and there's even room for her to make checkmarks of if she liked the ride, didn't like it, etc.
