Booking with 2 contracts and Banked points.

I have 2 contracts. RVA and OKW with banked 2019 points. We will likely only make one trip in 2020 and are looking at Aulani.

I was playing around with booking and it seems I could not choose to use banked points first from each contract? The system wanted to use all the points from either contract first. I want to use 2019 points from both and hold onto 2020 for later banking. Is this possible?

I have seen this apparent, but possibly not real, problem with the online system when I have made similar reservations. I set up a reservation with more than one contract, the second, and sometimes third, of which has banked points, and the system is supposed to use the banked points first even though the contract is not listed first. I click continue to the next page and it shows I have made a reservation that apparently did not use the banked points. Nevertheless, I continued through the rest of the pages, since you can still end the reservation even when you reach the last page. When I go to that last page that showed how points were actually used, it did show that the banked points were used up first.

My experience has been the same. It looks like it won't take the points from both that are either banked or borrowed, but on the final booking page it does!

Ok is this the final screen or is there another? I’ve been playing around and have both contracts selected but it only pulls from one unless I exceed the total points on one contract or the other.
With the cost of RVA points I don’t want to lose them or use more than necessary.

I just called member services. He said that yes it will use banked points first(as you all said) but will then pull from current. My idea of using banked RVA only with OKW filling the balance is only possible with two reservations.

We have 2-3 trips "planned" for 2021. When can I bank my 2020 points? I have an April UY.

Or maybe we go twice next year..

You can bank the points once you start your UY. So your April 2020 points can be banked beginning April 1st, 2020 for use in your 2021 UY.

Just remember, once banked they’d be good for travel April1st, 2021 to March 31st, 2022.

You mention many trips in 2021 and just a reminder, that trips in January to March 2021 will be in your 2020 UY so if travel is planned then, you would not want to bank.
