Booking Windows

Okay, I have been a member for 10 + years, booked a trip every year. Suddenly I'm confused about booking windows. Go figure.

I'm trying to get as close to Christmas as possible without actually being there for Christmas.

I'd like to book beach club studio for a few days from Dec 11 - 15/18 - home resort

Then DS will be joining me on Dec 15 when I'd like to try BLT for Dec 15-22/18 Lake View 1 bedroom-non home resort.

What are my booking windows. I assume I'll need to be on the computer as soon as they open for that time of year.

Also, what do you think my chances are of getting BLT for that week in a Lake View 1B? Should I book something else (my other home resort is BWV) in the meantime and then try to change. I've heard scary stories about availability disappearing when you try to change reservations. I don't have enough points to have 2 reservations at the same time for the 1 bed.

Your booking window for home resort arriving 12/11/18 is 1/11/18. Your booking window for a non-home resort arriving 12/15/18 is 5/15/18.

A BLT Lake-view one-bedroom will be the very last room to be reserved. You’ve got a great shot at that room since it is literally the lowest demand room at BLT.
