We have rented points in the past and this will be our very first reservation as an owner.

Is the date for the 11 month/7 month booking window the day you check in or the day you check out. We'll be going next November and I'm curious as to when I start making the reservations. I thought it would be 11 months prior to the date of check in, but I think I'm reading on here it would be from the day of check out. Please confirm!!

It's based on the check-out date.

If there is concern on whether you may not be able to book your whole stay due to the resort being fully booked, a common tactic (which I've not had to do yet) is to simply book the first day only, and then the next day call and add a day, etc...

This seems to be a necessary tactic for the smaller resorts around the F&W Festival, notably at BC/BW.

Lets you play around with dates and tells you when you can start booking them.

I would go along with Judy. Caskbill's program is awesome, you simply just run a report of when you what to vacation and it will give you the booking dates for both the 11 month and 7 month window.
