When booking room only w/AAA do you need your AAA# right then or do you just have to show it to them when you check in?

Thanks

When I booked AAA in the fall of last year, I was required to give my AAA number. I have read posts that said no, so it all depends on the CM you get.

I was on the phone today with a Guest Services Supervisor due to a major mix-up with a reservtion (long story :() and she said the system no longer allows them to put the AAA number in...it just says that the guest must show it at check-in.

I just booked today for WL in November with AAA. The CM asked me to read off the number, and make sure I bring it with me. We've had to give the number while making ressies before, but they don't usually ask for it at check-in.

I guess it depends on the CM. I didn't need one 2 months ago when I booked out trip

Booked my room on 4/29 & the CM asked for my AAA #. Got my confirmation in the mail today & it says AAA card is required at check-in, which is fine, I've always got it on me anyway.

Looks like it depends on the CM. I made ressies this morning for PO Riverside and I had to tell her my AAA #. ::yes::

thanks for all of your answers...Now I know if I call while I am at work to bring it in.

I usually make my AAA reservations on the AAA website. It just seems more painless to me and you get the same rates if you call.
