I'm getting VERY confused!! I'm trying to price up a weeks holiday at the end of October 2015 and I'm not sure if it would be better to book now on the Disney UK site, or wait and see what offers come up on the Disney US site? We are looking at staying at a moderate (to get free dining) but the QSDP would suit us better than the DDP. As we would only be doing 4 park days the US tickets would suit us better. And if we do book via Disney US when would we be able to book??
Urgh its so confusing!! :confused3:scared::confused3
Can anyone help point me in the right direction?? Please :)

If you want to book through the Disney US moderates get the DDP plan free but you would not be able to book until and whilst it is likely they will offer free dining again its not a certainty as in their last earning report hotel occupancy was up.

If it was me I would book room & tickets now through Disney UK via Quidco to get cashback and risk my deposit. The cashback tends to payout after about 3 months so you wouldn't be losing your full deposit if you cancelled. You then have a worst case price for your trip.

If come next spring the offers in the US save you money cancel you booking here and re-book in the US.

Don't forget to check the room discounts as these can be turned into packages in the US so you can add QSDP or DDP.

Can I just add to what Tracy has said and point out that if you have either of the Port Orleans resorts in mind, they were not included in the recently announced free dining promotion for this Fall so depending when you are thinking of going and if you have a preference as to where to stay, it's something to consider.

Thank you both of you :)
That makes a lot of sense, I've just signed up for Quidco and I'm off to book :rotfl:
The Port O r leans Reports would have been our favourite pick, but Caribbean Beach Resort looks fun too :)
On the US site do the budget resorts usually get. QSDP? Our Little bit had special needs and being tied to fast pass times is going to be difficult enough for him without being tied to pre set restaurants and times too! So the QSDP is the only dining plan that's worth it for us.

If you do end up with the DDP you can use your TS credit for a QS meal I believe if you'd prefer that.

I think they have stopped that now - you can use the credits as designated.

You may get lucky but wouldn't count on it.

And OP yes the values get the QSDP.

It's not that easy anymore. This was once the case, but for the last couple of years it seems to take a bit of negotiation.

Thank you for your help :thumbsup2 Do you have any idea what month the US site might start offering free dining for October 2015?
