Quick question - can I book a studio and a 2 bedroom at the same time?

Also, anyone know the difficulty in the past for booking a 2 BR at SSR or OKW the first week of December at the 7 month window (would be booking this along with a studio too).

Thanks,
mg

You can book as many units as you have points for. I have had no problems getting a room at 7 months for the time you quoted for OKW and doubt SSR would be any different. The smaller resorts will be a different story.

I agree with the answer you've gotten thus far.

One more point, decide which is more important to you; being near the other party or some other preference. Its often difficult to find a 2Br and a Studio that are immediately adjacent to each other. So you might find that you'll be in the same building, but not right next door. If its really important for them to be next door, you should list this first on your preferences.

I am not sure how this works with DVC- but when booking through CRO if you have 8 + in your total party you can classify your group as a Grand Gathering and they will automatically group rooms at each resort in close proximity.

We were jsut at the Boardwalk in March. We had a 2 BR and 3 studios...all booked on points.

And the "Magical Gatherings" was great. The CM's worked hard to keep us all in the same area. I'd definitely recommend it!

I hope you have a Magical Time!

When I was booking rooms for early Dec., I was not allowed to put both rooms in my name. I was not certain who was going with me so I wanted to book 2 rooms and had the points to do that. I was told that I could put one room in my friends name and change it later if I needed. Seemed a little silly.

[as a side note: after a couple weeks we were able to straighten out who was going with me and I was allowed to switch my name from one room to the other and cancel the former.]

This is the way it's currently working as one person can't be in two rooms at one time. And as you found out, easy to work around.

What if both rooms are lockoffs and you are standing exactly across the threshold of the connecting door.

:scared1: I respectfully submit, that would be occupying two rooms at once! :scared1:

As long as you pay twice for the DDP I guess it's OK.
