We are FL residents and will be hosting my parents and a niece from out of state and using two rooms at Disney for 2 nights. Is it possible to book two rooms as Florida residents (one each by me and my wife) and have our guests listed as staying one adult each in each room, plus the 5 y/o child? I read somewhere one FL ID can book one room. It's just unclear as to whether someone staying in the room with you can be from another state (GA).

Also, how hard would it be to book two rooms as seperate individuals like that and manage to get the rooms close by to each other at the resort?

Trying to take advantage of the deal for Dec at Saratoga springs ($169 plus a $100 dinner card per room) while also not forcing my parents to pay rack rate. For that price they'd stay elsewhere.

The last I've heard is a FL resident can book up to 3 rooms under the same reservation unless this has changed??:confused3

I did this a few years back with 2 rooms/WL cabins actually with my brother and his family who live in GA. There was a notation that I booked the rooms but when he checked in he was actually able to switch the billing to his name. I checked in first and informed them that they would be checking in later that day and it was no problem. They actually showed both reservations under my name.

When you book the reservation ask for rooms as close together as possible. This can be tricky sometimes but you'll just have to be flexible with your location preferences, if any. If they are all studio rooms which is what that special rate is for, it can be even more tricky since there are a limited amount of studio rooms however maybe they'd be nice and upgrade one of your rooms to a 1 bedroom:thumbsup2 and have the studio next door.

That rate is great as we just stayed there a few weeks back and plan to go back in Dec. on that same rate also. It's a beautiful resort and even though it's spread out we still really enjoy staying there. The rooms have been very private and quiet, not to mention we've gotten lucky twice, booked a studio and upgraded to 1 bedroom. They've really spoiled us there!

Thanks so much for the info. I found another post after a search that said the same. That's a big relief and will make booking much easier. Thanks for the tip on getting rooms together. We can be flexible on room location but it'd be nice to have rooms close together since we'll be sharing babysitting duties of a 5 y/o.

Oh my gosh - that is great news! Well be going in May and are booking at least 2, maybe three villas. I didn't know I could use my FL discount for my out of state family. But, I'll still have to book now and just hope a better rate comes out later with a code or something, right?
