I thought there used to be a rule that you couldn't book two ADR's that were within two hours of one another. :confused3

I've made several ADR's an hour apart recently for my trip in August and instead of being told that I already had an ADR booked and would I like to cancel the original one, it just allows me book more than one.

Is this a new rule because of the cc guarantee for all restaurants? or is this just a glitch in the system?

Probably a glitch. Some have reported being asked to choose which res they want to keep, others have been able to make multiple reservations.

From the time I began making ADR's (few months now), I've always been able to make ADR's if they are an hour and a half apart, but no closer. For those closer I've been asked to choose, but I've had several less than 2 hrs apart.

I had a few ADR's that I cancelled that were one hour apart. I just thought it was odd because in the past (two years ago) I was unable to make ADR's that were within two hours of one another.

On a couple of our trip days in December, I'm holding reservations at two restaurants in two different parks. I couldn't do both until they were 65 minutes apart.

From this I concluded that you can have multiple reservations, but they have to be over an hour apart.

(And once we're closing I will be canceling one of each set of doubles.
