We have decided to go either the last week of Sept or 1st week of Oct. which is new for us as we usually go in May. I have a few questions:

1.) If I book now and free dining is annouced do I just have to cancel my reservation and rebook? I do have the Disney Visa card.

2.) Can I book my AAA rate through Disney itself or just through my AAA Travel Agent? Would it be easier to change through Disney itself if I need to?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I'd like to book now that DH has finally agreed to go again this year - before he changes his mind. LOL!

You will most likely have to rebook. There really is no need to book until free dining is announced. Some say it makes Disney think they won't need to offer any incentives since resorts will have a higher occupancy rate. Others say it won't matter...who knows...lol.

Again, this is something that people have varying opinions on. Some did get AAA with free dining, but now they say that only one or the other discount is allowed. Free dining OR AAA rate.

Clear as mud? LOL.

Also...it is rumored that free dining will only go until Sept. 22nd. Is a change in dates possible? Last year even if you checked in on the last day of the promotion you still received free dining for the length of your stay.
