Booking tomorrow....two questions

This will be our second cruise and first time attempting to book on opening day and use a TA. I have put in a quote request (yesterday) but I am sure they are swamped so I'm wondering what my best plan of attack is.

Here's my two questions:

Am I better off to book our cruise myself first thing tomorrow and then transfer it to the TA or should I wait for them?

If I book myself, will online booking be available on the DCL site tomorrow or will I need to call? Just planning ahead to block time if I need to plan for the phone wait.

You should be able to book online tomorrow. I would just try to book it myself online as a back up. You do not need to make an actual deposit, you can just hold it and it will expire on its own. I haven't used a travel agent, but just in case I would feel better having what you want as a back up plan.

We have our travel agent take care of it so we can avoid the almighty hold button.
