Can't help with your questions but just wanted to say :woohoo: for going back to Orlando

My friend switches between delta and continental for Edin-Orl. She says both are good and fine. We're flying edin-orl with Delta in July.

Hi Ya Hun,are you both doing :goodvibes ,well i hope.
Sorry can't help with your questions, but :cool1:  for booking today :thumbsup2 .x.

hiya Michelle

We are both great, and even better now that we are going back home.......

Carhire.
Have you considered Budget rather than Dollar? we have used Dollar for almost every trip but last year tried Budget, got 3 more rentals booked with them this year.

With USrentacar and Budget you can get free upgrade,
2dr compact upgraded to 2 dr Intermediate £300
4dr compact upgraded to 4 dr Intermediate £306

Both after £5 code NY09

4 dr economy £289

Personally I would never book a 4 door car, done over 20 rentals now, always booked 2 dr always recieved 4 dr, was told years ago by someone that worked for Dollar, they very rarely buy 2 dr cars. You would be very unlucky to get one.

Flights.
Have you checked Opodo? Total price: £ 679.20 GBP With Delta, you would have to check details I looked at some Delta with Majortravel.co.uk and they were flying into JFK but out of Laguardia but onse with Opopdo looked OK at 1st glance. Also remember Quidco for 1.7% cashback

That's a geat price, is it for 2 weeks and can you hire for a few days?

Prices quoted were for 15 days booked over the weekend while the sale was on, now its over they will be a few £ more but not much.
You can rent a car for any amount of days. After our cruise in August I am collecting a car for just 2 days (have to pay for 3 because its over 2 days) Only cost me £90 for a big Ford Expedition or similar, including a tank of gas, gas will be worth about £40 (holds 28 gal)

These prices are if you prebook in UK all insurances are included.
If you wait until you get there expect to pay at least double this, if you want a car for a few days you really need to try sort it out before you go.

Thanks Wayne. I will make a note of this, think we are going to RPR for 5 nights & Pop for the rest so we may not need a car but may get for a couple of days for Norman to practise for 2010.
