Hey everyone! First ever post :o

I'm just trying to get ideas of prices before I start booking my Orlando holiday with my boyfriend. I'm more of a Disney veteran than him having been a good few times with my family and did the IC Programme. We're looking to do a split trip of 7 nights disney 7 nights universal in May 2016.

However my question is to you lovely people; when I go on the universal orlando website to book cabana bay it's coming out at $759usd which is roughly £502 for 7 nights. However on Virgin website for example we're up at about £800 for 7 nights. This seems like such a huge discrepancy. Has anyone else found this and have you booked through the US site? Can you recommend me sites to book through where it might be slightly cheaper, as Thomas Cook doesn't seem to be working and booking.com doesn't seem to have official hotels.

Any help would be hugely appreciated!!

Hi @Lyricallie :wave2:

What dates in May are you looking at?

We have been looking at Universal hotels for September 2016, and both Expedia & Hotels.com were showing prices - although both sites have the same prices.

I find that sometimes you have to scroll through the list of hotels to finally get to the resort hotels I am after! :sad2:

Hiya!
Just the 1st through to the 7th for rough ideas. And I forgot about expedia! I'll keep on scrolling, thank you!

Or try filtering by distance, sometimes that works!

I really don't understand why the sites ask you were you want to stay, and then put the official resorts away down the page! :sad2:

Anyway...Hotels.com is showing a price of £424 for Cabana Bay on those dates (hopefully the link will take you there!) - http://uk.hotels.com/hotel/details.html?roomInfoList[0].numberOfAdults=2&previousDateful=false&reviewOrder=date_newest_first&dd=07/05/2016&roomInfoList[0].numberOfChildren=0&sdfl=1789406&rl=CITY:1404711:UNKNOWN:UNKNOWN&pa=4&did=1404711&numberOfRooms=1&tab=description&dn=Orlando,+Florida,+United+States+of+America&hotelId=434452&cd=01/05/2016&ZSX=0&SYE=3&MGT=6&YGF=14&WOD=7&WOE=6&JHR=4GBP&FPQ=2GBP

Ah perfect you're a star :D

Great price.

We stayed 7 nights at cabana bay last October and are booked for 10 this October. Used amoma.com both times as they were cheapest for our dates.
