If you want to use the -40% discount you have to book it through an English travel agent who accepts credit cards from other countries. If you feel it's risky... don't book it

It's not exactly like this.

You pay in pounds (if you book through a travel agent) and the currency exchange rate depends on your bank.

The day you make the booking they charge you the amount that your stay costs. For us it was 500 pounds. So that day the bank just blocks this amount.
1 month before you go, the travel agent takes this money that the bank has blocked. (this depends on the hotel, some hotels charge you the day you arrive). So you pay with the rate that your bank has published for that day. I think that we paied 550 euros (and the travel agent in Greece gave us the price of 1200 euros, funny ?)
For example. If you pay today, and the rate is 1.11, and the agent requests your payment at 30th of May, you will pay with the 30th of May exchange rate.

Yes, I used that agent, but I just asked a travel agent in Greece just to see how much would it cost if I wanted to book it from Greece
But it works this way in everything you buy using your credit card. Not only booking hotels

If you ask a friend to do it for you, He might have a problem with his credit card, because he will book for (2-3) irrelevant names. Some credit cards block bookings that are made for others, so that they protect the card holder.

If you see at Official site's booking form, there is no "Card holder's name" field. Only the names of the passengers.
Where will he put his name?

I also had that problem. I guess you can easily solve that by calling the bank and saying that I agree with the transaction

I booked visitdisneylandparis.com but I have not received the "Disney confirmation," yet. It says it will come "shortly." Right now I only have the confirmation number with the UK company.

I hope I get the official disney confirmation "shortly."

today is the last day for the uk 40% off
in disneyland site for the dates i want to visit this offer is valid for newport bay hotel,david crocket and hotel elysee val d'europe.
I like the david crocket more but i don't want to rent a car ,so the best solution is hotel elysee val d'europe.
i visited leisuredirection and other site but they do not offer this hotel,the offer only disney hotels.
I want to book with disney site,i have a valid address from a friend,do you think it is ok to go on? and something else my phone number has more digits than these allowed in the book form what can i do?
