Booking through Expedia

Hello,

I booked my reservations through Expedia.com, and at the time, I didn't know about the Magical Express benefit. I will be using American Airlines, so I know that I am elegible for this service. But, since I booked through Expedia, would I still be able to request this service? Should I ask for it directly to WDW or through Expedia.com?
Any help appreciated.

Expedia is a travel agency and you have to go through them to add your Magical Express. Good Luck!

Also read the breakdown of what the charges were. When I priced it out, they were charging $5.00 Magical Express fee. They shouldn't be any charge for using the service.

Just to clarify, it doesn't matter what airline you fly. Anyone staying on property is eligible to use ME. If you are flying on a "participating airline" that means you can check in for your return flight at your resort and drop your luggage off at the resort check-in desk to be transported to the airport. If you are flying on a non-participating airline, you take your bags with you on the ME bus and you check-in at the airport.

To anyone who may be interested in knowing, here's an update:

I called Expedia to add the Magical Express service, and first they told me that I should contact the hotel directly to add the service. So I called the hotel, and they told me that they couldn't see my reservation because I booked through Expedia and that I should do it through them!
I called Expedia again, and they gave me the Magical Express reservations phone number so that I could tell them my flight information, the resort, etc. When I called the ME's reservations line, they said that I should reserve Magical Express online...

I finally went online www.disneysmagicalexpress.com and I was able to add my flight and resort information there. I already received a confirmation at my email address. Now, let's wait and see if it all works out.

I'm posting this so if anyone has the same problem can go directly to the website above and avoid the same troubles I endured. If I only had that website's url before!!!!

embracinglife, Thank you for sharing this info. I reserved the room through Travelocity. I will keep this in mind just in case I do use ME. I usually rent a car, but we'll see how it goes as the time draws nearer. Please let us know how it goes. They should send you the tags to put on your bags prior to your departure. Thanks!
