Booking through DL Travel question.

We just booked our trip through DL Travel for the first time (we used a travel agency the last 2 times), and found out once we printed the receipt, there are a few goodies included. My question is, when do you receive this stuff? Do they mail it to you, or do you pick it up somewhere when you arrive?

You receive your package approx 30 days before you are scheduled to arrive. If you have any questions or add ons you want call Vacation Planning they are absolutely awesome. We booked in Nov 07 for our 08 trip and the wait is killing me!~

If the goodies are vouchers for priority seating, discounts for DTD, and are they still doing the "dream coin"?, those things will be in the packet you get.

The lanyard and pin, if those are other goodies for your package, will be "given" to you in form of a voucher, with a list of places you can redeem it. If this is something you get, you'll get a WDTC lanyard with a generic pin (that you can immediately trade with the CM that redeems your voucher, if you wish...hubby traded his, but DS and I kept ours).

If there's something else I didn't mention, let us know and someone will try to tell you how you'll get it.


As mentioned, they send the package shortly after the date for payment in full. It's not after you pay in full since you could pay in full forever before the due date, but after the date you're supposed to (if you do indeed pay, of course), so it generally does arrive about 3 weeks before the trip.

There is also a coupon for I think 10% off at Marcelline's in DTD and another for a discount on a purchase of over 50$ at most of the stores (one time coupon). The DTD fun card is great because you get offers off at most of the DTD stores and restaurants with it. You get a voucher for the pin (a very cute dark blue Mickey head with Tinker Bell sitting in it) and the lanyard, which you can p/u in two places - one in DCA and one in DL. The Dream Coin is included in the package as well.
