Booking through Disney

Has anyone booked their entire trip through the Disney website. What are your experiences on this. I was thinking about booking the entire trip for the resort, park tickets and air fare. Has anyone done this and where they happy with the experience. After paying the initial deposit are you able to put a little bit towards it each month. I'm having trouble finding a travel agent in my area (London, Ontario) who will return my calls.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Granny Ev... I think the only thing you can't do online is book your ADR's.

About airfare.... you can't book any flights out of Canada, only U.S. cities through Disney. You'll probably get a better deal booking with airlines yourself (that's what my TA always tells me), I got a Southwest DING this past time around and it was great saving all the money.

Thanks. Perhaps I'll just book the rooms and get the tickets through Disney and then shop around for the flights. Was thinking of leaving from Detroit. Even with paying Robert Q shuttle to the Detroit, it's still alot cheaper than flying out of London or Toronto (by about $1000)
I've just never booked airfare online and hear all these horror stories of getting to the airport and find that you can't get on your flight. (GEEZ, too much t.v. I guess!!LOL)

We fly out of Detroit 4 times per year for Disney and always book online at either Spirit Air or Northwest Air. Never had a problem and both airlines let you choose your seats at time of purchase (Spirit Air seats can only be booked 90 days or less prior to flight). You'll love the prices and the service. Plus, you cross the border before getting to the airport so no customs delays.

We are going to try Southwest out of Buffalo one of these days as I have read nothing but good stuff about them and the Buffalo airport. Just won't do it in January because of the weather. That said, I am looking out my window at blowing snow! Leaving in a few hours for the drive to Detroit for an overnight stay. Fly out on NWA tomorrow morning at 7:00AM.

Just make sure you're really clear on the cancellation penalties, if you book through WDW..both over the phone, or on the web

Dreams Unlimited gets some great reviews too - we've always received quick replies, cruising or onsite bookings/questions

Never used a travel agent for WDW. I always just called CRO for our room and tickets. From London I would definitely recommend flying from Detroit. A good friend lives in St Thomas and she uses Spirit once or twice a year.

I wouldn't worry about not having a flight if you book online, you get a printed out confirmation just not an actual ticket.
