Booking through AAA

Does anyone know if a friend could book for you? And would we have to go at the same time?
i.e. would they ask to see a AAA card or something? Thank you!

We booked through AAA for us and some friends a few years back. But we put the whole thing on our Visa and then the friends wrote us a check. But we went all together. Once we got to the park, no one asked for our AAA card.

What about using AAA to book tours like the holiday tour? When I booked mine they said to bring my AAA card with me. Do they really ask for it when you check in for your tour?
