I am considering a trip to Disney for July or August of 2007 for 2 adults & 1 child. I have decided the hotel will be either Allstar Movies or Pop Century. My last trip I booked through Disney directly for a room only with the AAA discount.
I am really considering the month of August starting on the 5th since it will be Value season and the rate is much lower than going in July at there Summer season rate. Since I work in a public school summer is really the only time I can go on a vacation for more than 1 week.
The question I have, is if I book my trip through AAA and want a package, will I get the discount off the room rate? I know the discount is not on tickets or dining. When you book a package directly with Disney, you can't get the discount on the room. Does AAA work the same way with a package?
I am hoping that Disney will offer the free dining again in August of 2007. That will be the greatest bargain ever. $82.00 a night plus tax at Pop and with free dining (a miracle if they would offer it). I will really enjoy that vacation.
If for some reason that Disney would offer the free dining next August, do you have to book that trip through Disney or can you book that with AAA also? I am looking into everything.
The trip I made at the beginning of July at Pop Century for 10 days was my first onsite Disney trip ever. I will never stay offsite again. I am hooked. If I can get a bargain I can plan my first 3-week trip. When I go on vacation, 10 days is not enough for me.
Looking for any info. Thank you.
