Booking the Bounceback Offer

This year, if there is a bounceback offer for us, I will most definitely book it then and there. I have kicked myself ever since our last trip for not booking the bounceback offer...we could have stayed at Wilderness Lodge w/free dining for the price we paid to stay at CBR with free dining. We even ate dinner there one night and got a tour of the rooms (If you want, you can do this at any resort I guess).

Anyone else ever not book the bounceback and regret it?

We booked our bounceback to WL for this year and are so glad we did. We really weren't sure we'd be able to do a trip this year, but for only the $200 deposit it was worth trying for. We were able to know that we had free dining coming for a year, and plan and make all of our ADRs accordingly. With Disney's good deposit policy, there isn't much reason not to go ahead and book a bounceback if there is any chance that you'll be back in the specified time.

At least you get to go back, and any trip to WDW is a good one. Enjoy!

Your reasons are the exact reasons why we SHOULD have booked the bounceback. No worries the rest of the year. The bounceback offer is one of the things I am looking forward to this year, to see what is offered.

we didnt book in 9/2012, booked 35% off in 4/2013 for 9/2013 and so very glad we did. will be booking in 9/2013 if there is an offer.

Just a heads up, not sure if it's been like this for awhile, so you might already know this but our bounceback offer last week wasn't on a separate card in our room like it had been in years past. It was actually INSIDE one of the booklets they give you at check-in inside your folder. I only leafed through that particular booklet on our second to last day and saw it right in the middle or else I would have never known it was there!

I was going to say the same thing! I was frantically looking for the card and then it was in the brochure in the room (or maybe given in the packet when we checked in). One thing that is super annoying is how long you have to wait on hold to make the reservation (at least for me). We are always running from here or there at Disney and sitting on the phone in the room is not planned for! In the end I didn't book it bc literally could never get anyone on the phone.
