Booking table service - for dessert only

Hi Folks

My DD will be celebrating her big Birthday on our upcoming trip. We've always wanted to try Walts but she is an extremely plain (fussy) eater and nothing much on the menu appeals to her.

Is it possible to make a reservation and then not order dinner, just desserts & beverages, so we can still have the experience? Or would this be frowned-upon?

yes, to be honest, at DLP table service restaurants that would be frowned upon. You could always make a reservation for outside of standard meal times - that may work for you if you just want desserts and drinks?

we've shared pizza and had desserts/drinks at Cafe Mickey - pizza is like Pizza Hut large size, they start at around 15 euros. I'd do that at Cafe Mickey, at lunch or dinner (then you get the characters coming round your table as well).

I am not sure about Walts, but Blue Lagoon were happy for us to do this as long as it was outside of lunch/dinner time, around 3pm.

Would it be worth ringing Walts and see if they could cater for a plainer taste? I bet they would cook something specially as they must do that for guests with allergies or special diets? That way you could have the full experience!

Does she eat a plain steak ..... or if she likes burgers then the gourmet burger is really good, just ask for it without the fois gras (that's what my DH does as he doesn't eat that) and the onions.
