Booking Swan/Dolphin with SPG points for part of stay?

I have a question about booking the Swan/Dolphin using SPG reward points. How does it work if I have enough SPG points for part of my stay, but not for the whole time? Can I use SPG points for 1 night, then still get a discount (like AAA) on the remaining nights that I have to pay for? How do I book using points for part of the stay?

I am not sure about the first part of your question, although I am sure that there is a way to work it out with your points. Simply call the number on the back of your starwood card to arrange the points redemption. I do not know how many points you have, or are willing to use, but for my stay in mid-May it would cost me 11,000 points per night at the Dolphin. Good Luck and Happy Planning!
