Booking Shore Excursions Questions

I know that you can book shore excurisions 90 days in advance. My questions are:

1) To get the earliest booking date, do you just subtract 90 days from the date of sailing? What if the date is on the weekend?

2) I have heard that you can submit your requests by email, fax, or phone. Does it make any difference which method you use?

3) How long does it take to find out what shore excursions you actually got?

I just booked mine last week. Yes, you do subtract 90 days from your date of sailing. I faxed mine in and got a confirmation within 30 minutes faxed back to me. Good luck!
