Hope this doesn't sound too stupid, but since SW has a promo right now with code BONUS100 I thought I would price out the stay through them...just to compare. But... I can choose the s/p/d promotion (which is a higher rate than their 20% off room rate)... but then have to add tickets/dp to that? Or when I choose the s/p/d room option is it already in it? It still takes the extra $100 off... but I am not sure if I have to do the add ons. :confused3

I cant even find where you have the option for the s/p/d via the southwest site so your one step ahead of me

I've never heard of the ability to add a Disney promo through SW like that. If you can add SPD the dining plan would be included, but with most of those reservations I don't believe people have been able to add the DP. However you do it, you'll have to add everything through SW so don't book a room through SW and then call Disney to add tickets and DP. They won't be able to add them.

It is under or was under the southwest vacation site. It listed my room options and one of the promos was the spd. I just wasn't sure if by clicking that if it automatically added the tickets or if I needed to then put them in my "cart" as well. It was a bit confusing. I could add multiple types of tickets...so it left me not knowing if I needed to add the tickets and dp or not. In the end I chose not to... just cause it seemed a bit too "iffy". I mean... I could check out with the spd option without adding tickets (which was a higher rate than the 20% off that they were offering)... so it made me wonder if I would get to disney and find I didn't have them.... but also if I added them I wondered if I was adding what I didn't need. (if any of this makes sense.)

Thanks!!!

Kind of late replying but now I know what you mean because I stumbled upon it myself when just checking out there "get two nights free" deal. From there it then offered different "room option" one of which was the S/P/D deal supposedly but the price did not make sense. Based on the price there is no way that it included tickets so it appears as though you needed to add them extra to your cart. However it only gave me the option of adding park hopper tickets or park hopper/water park tickets and not just basic tickets so I just dont know. From what I could see even if the did have to buy the tickets separately the price was working out to be a little cheaper than the way I was going to book my package through Disney. Going to play around with it a little more and see what I can find out. It would let you go all the way up through the checkout process without adding the tickets so its confusing to say the least.

glad to hear that I am not the only one to find it a tad confusing. I saw the new promo for the free nights if you book the airfare... but I didn't even look into it since I figured I would be confused by it as well.

I have been able to get free dining through Southwest Vacations. :goodvibes
